FOCUS ON WHAT MATTERS NOW – A CONVERSATION ABOUT SETTING GOALS IN A DIFFICULT TIME
When a market turns around like we are experiencing now, it can create a lot of chaos. Chaos that requires action – but not any kind of action. Focused action. Aligned action. Cold headed action.
One of the biggest challenges for companies is to be aligned on what matters, so how do we manage it, when suddenly a whole market is under pressure?
Objectives and Key Results would have been a good place to start, but it takes time, energy and focus to implement, so if you need to act fast, that isn’t a good place to start. You can apply a more near-team thinking especially in a leadership team, where prioritization become pivotal.
In this session we will answer two types of questions:
- In the first section Jakob Beck will give his version of what leaders should give extra consideration when companies need to strap in to survive
- In the second section Jakob will do his best to answer questions to specific challenges, related to creating a clear and aligned focus on what matter right now in your business.
We’ll couple these two sections with exercises, and give participants a chance to clarify for themselves what is important to focus on right now.
