How to have Crucial Conversations

Agile organizations can create a beneficial work environment and avoid an unhealthy culture by learning how to have crucial conversations.

A conversation becomes crucial when stakes are high, emotions run high, and opinions become opposing.

Implementing agile culture requires a lot of change and learning. People have to operate differently, decisions are made differently, and power structures often change too, as decision power is distributed. This can create a lot of friction and conflict, and that is why crucial conversations are essential to success. 

In this mini-workshop, we introduce the concept and tools of crucial conversations. You will learn the basics of how to have productive conversations when a lot is at stake, your emotions run high, and your opinions oppose your conversation partner.
